If you run multiple social media accounts, it probably gets annoying posting the same content to like five different profiles, and it can be quite time-consuming, since it does involve multiple steps. But, if you haven’t already optimized yourself for this, use the social media apps that make maintaining your social media even easier. Hootsuite, Sprout, and Buffer are all great apps that allow you to cross-post your content across multiple networks, and you can even schedule the posts so you don’t have to manually put it in. it works for all major social networks, so if you’re using Twitter, Facebook, or whatever, this is the way to go!
5. Share Away
Engagement is the name of the game, so it is important to consider trying to get people interested. But, let’s be honest overposting creates both annoyance, and fatigue. If you want to keep communication open, you should try to post content at a relative pace that works for you, maybe 3-4 times a week. You don’t want to overshare, but you don’t want your social media to be some once-a-week thing that doesn’t really do much. You should share content that people will like, and you should create interesting content people will want to look at.
6. Create Engaging Content
Reposting content is good, but it’s not the only thing you should do. You should use content that you’ve created yourself. The content that you should consider is stuff that showcases industry expertise, and the trends that are there. You shouldn’t be afraid to talk about achievements and personal topics that are important, but as always keep it on a professional level so that you’re not being too open with that. If you do want to talk about employees, make sure that you have social media guidelines in place. You should always make sure not to breach those.
